for many years I did traditional art , oil was my favorite to work in I have never gone to collage for art the only training I did have was in high school and then years later someone took me under her wing and taught me to do face's most of what I did I did for family and friends for special times like at Christmas and Birthdays . Then at one point in my life painting in oil was all I did , I have sold a few paintings which Im very proud of, but then I had to stop for 15 years I could not do any of my art because of the job I had my time was very limited very limited but my daddy gave me a 35mm camera before he passed away and that I could do because it did not stop me from doing my job. I guess you could say life got in the way , but now Im back to doing my art but now on the computer which I still have a lot to learn and learning it on my own , I look through Deviant Art at all the talented Artist here , and look at all the tutroils that I can and try and learn from them , although I do have to say that mine do not turn out looking like theirs do but one day I know that I will have them to come out looking the way they should. my camera well I have two 35mm camera's but those you have to send the film off to be developed and I want to see them like right now ,, every morning as I open my back door there is something to take a photograph of , several years ago the river that runs behind our house flooded the whole town was flooded and the house right below was also flooded , now birds and squrriels live there and every morning I see them scamper around down there sometimes they come close and sit on our fence , one always comes over the fence sits in a tree near my back door and fuss's at me all the time then it will sit as if to say , Ok this is my good pose , you got it cause Im about to leave " , theheh or I watch as they fuss with the neighbors cats for trying to catch them ,, I can only imagine what the squrrial is saying to the cat ,, " come on up here you want a piece of me , come on I'll show you what for you , scragley looking feline , I'll bite your nads off , tehheheheh ,My head is so full of paintings waiting to be let out but right now I have them tucked away until I can really better myself with digital art. I will just keep practicing until I get it right . Oh and by the way , hope everyone had a great thanksgiving if there is any want of turkey well I have plenty of it left and Merry Christmas , or what ever you call it , be it Holiday or any of the now politicly correct words , Gesss , soo many names for which started out as a pagan day , tehehhhhehehe , but anyway , may everyone be happy , I know Iam , tehehheheheheh
